Rob is a passionate aviation buff and kit plane builder who runs Expercraft, a small on-line company for other kit plane builders. He uses BatchBook to keep contact records for vendors of aviation-related materials, fellow flight fanatics he’s met at air shows and on-line, owners of particular types of planes, and freelance writers and potential advertisers for his website.
Rob uses tags to help him manage these very different types of records. Records tagged "Avid Aircraft Magnum", for example, will pull up a list of people he’s met who are building this model plane or selling products related to the plane because that’s how he tagged them when he entered their records.
Records tagged “advertiser” gives him a quick list of folks who have bought or who might buy ads on his web site. He can then use the List feature to create a list with their email addresses so he can send them news and updates about the site.
