Alex Taylor

Director of Design & UX, BatchBlue Software, LLC

Alex is Director of Design & UX here at BatchBlue. He develops the user interface for our software and works with the Communications team to guide the overall design direction for marketing and communications. Before coming on full-time, he helped refresh BatchBook's design as a freelancer. Now he's up to his eyeballs in pixels as he works on the design for our next product.

Alex has been working at the intersection of visual design and (mostly web) technology for over a decade. With a background in Exhibit Design and experience working with hand-held device interfaces, he is focused on revealing the underlying power of the technology in a human friendly fashion.

Hailing from the Eastern Half of the United States, Alex has lived a lot of different places, but ten years here in Rhode Island is his longest stay anywhere. Alex likes helping to make people and things better than they were. When not at work he's usually with his family or, occasionally, making people lift heavy things and run around in the park.
